Infrared diesel heater 20 kW CIMEX D20iR
Industrial infrared diesel heater 20 kW designed for fast directional outdoor heating, workshops, workshops, temperature maintenance during construction and repair, drying of paints and putties. Like its smaller counterpart D20iR, this industrial infrared heater is widely used in various fields of construction, industry, agriculture, animal husbandry.
With a power of 20 kW / 77,000 BTU, this infrared heater is suitable for heating rooms up to 140 m2.
One of the significant differences between diesel heaters with direct combustion and infrared heaters is that they have no air flow and the noise level is significantly lower.
What are the reasons to choose an infrared diesel heater?
The main reason is the high efficiency of heating with low fuel consumption.
These heaters have up to 60% lower fuel consumption compared to traditional diesel heaters. This type of heaters are not affected by wind and can also be used for outdoor heating. Another main advantage is that, unlike traditional diesel heaters operating on the principle of heating the air, the heat from the infrared heater does not "escape" in the upper part of the room, but a much better heat distribution is obtained.
How is this achieved?
In essence, the infrared diesel heater is a type of radiant heater in which heating is carried out by means of infrared rays. Discovered in 1800 by William Herschel, infrared rays are characterized by their ability to transfer heat (on this principle, the sun warms the earth). Infrared radiant heating is practically the most common type of heat transfer in nature. Characteristic of radiant heating is that with this type of heaters the objects reached by the rays are heated. This leads to a greater depth of heat penetration into objects compared to traditional diesel heaters.
In construction, infrared heaters are used for drying plasters, plasters, painted surfaces, maintaining the operating temperature in rooms. In garages, this type of heaters can be used for drying painted parts, space heating, local heating in the workplace. In the repair activities outdoors are used for heating the work area, defrosting equipment, pipelines. In warehouses and production facilities they are used for heating and maintaining the temperature.
CIMEX D20iR:
Is a high-tech heater built entirely with high quality components. The fuel system is built entirely with components manufactured by the world leader Danfoss (Denmark). The high pressure fuel pump is toothed and has multi-stage fuel filtration, and for easy maintenance, the pre-filtration filter is located in a convenient place for service, allowing its replacement without the need to disassemble the machine. The infrared diesel heater is equipped with a microprocessor system for combustion control and flame stabilization, self-diagnostic system.
The setting of the desired temperature is performed by a digital controller and by means of a display information about the set temperature and the ambient temperature is displayed. When the set temperature is reached, the heater stops burning, cools the combustion chamber and switches off automatically, switching to standby mode. When the temperature drops by 2 degrees below the set temperature, the heater switches on automatically and works until the set temperature is reached.
