PLASTERBOARD MACHINERY

Plasterboard Machinery for Board Installation and Joint Finishing

Installing plasterboard involves two different jobs: holding each sheet safely in position and finishing the joints after fixing. The Bulgarian CIMEX category highlights panel lifts and mechanised joint taping equipment. The current CIMEX.com range includes a plasterboard lift and CIMEX DT135 jointing tools. Choose each machine according to the board size, installation height, working position and joint finish required for your project.

Plasterboard Lifts for Ceilings and Panels

A plasterboard lift supports a sheet while it is raised and positioned for fixing. This is especially useful when installing large boards overhead on suspended ceilings, where holding the full panel manually is awkward. The lift allows the installer to adjust the board's position before securing it to the framing. It can also help with suitable flat panel work, depending on the specific machine's design and instructions.

The Bulgarian source refers to a CIMEX P310 lift; the current CIMEX.com category lists the CIMEX P335 panel and plasterboard lift with extension. Compare the actual model on the product page rather than relying on an older category reference. Check its rated load, working height, support dimensions and permitted panel orientation. Confirm that the boards you use fall within those limits and that the lift can pass through doors and be set up in the work area.

Before raising a sheet, make sure the floor is firm and level enough for the lift and that the board is centred on its supports. Clear the lifting path, avoid overhead obstructions and follow the model's locking and lowering instructions. A panel lift helps position a board; it does not replace a stable installation platform or the correct method for fastening the sheet to the structure.

Mechanised Taping and Jointing Equipment

After boards are fixed, the joints and internal corners need a consistent application of joint compound and tape. The CIMEX DT135 mechanised taping tool, often called a bazooka, is intended to feed compound and tape along plasterboard joints. The category also lists a DT-135-SYS jointing and finishing set. These tools can support repeatable application across larger runs of joints when the compound, tape and tool settings are compatible.

Match the jointing tool to the type of work. Long flat seams, internal corners and small repairs call for different handling and accessories. Read each product page to understand which parts are supplied and what additional finishing steps are still needed. A taping tool lays tape and compound, but the joint must still be inspected and finished to the level required by the project. Do not assume a complete finished surface from one pass.

Plan the Board Installation Sequence

Measure the room and plan board orientation before lifting panels. Confirm that framing is in place and suitable for the board type and fixing pattern. Keep the travel path clear between the board stack, lift and installation point. Place boards on a dry, stable support so their edges remain undamaged. If sheets need cutting, do that before raising them whenever practical.

For suspended ceilings, check the position of services, access openings and edge details before starting. Work from a layout that avoids narrow, weak offcuts where possible. During wall installation, verify that the lift or other handling method is appropriate for the board orientation. Use enough people and the correct access equipment for the sheet size and site conditions, following the instructions for the product and the board system.

Prepare for Joint Taping and Finishing

Joint quality depends on sound board edges, correctly seated fixings and clean surfaces. Select the compound and tape specified for the plasterboard system. Mix or prepare the compound as directed, then test the tool on a short section to confirm even flow and tape adhesion. Work systematically so the compound remains workable and joints can be inspected before later coats or sanding.

Clean the DT135 or other jointing equipment promptly after use. Dried compound can obstruct the feed path and affect the next application. Inspect seals, rollers and moving parts as directed by the product manual. Store the tool in a way that protects it from impact and contamination. Routine cleaning is particularly important when changing between compounds or leaving equipment unused between jobs.

Browse the CIMEX plasterboard lift, mechanised jointing tool and complete jointing system to find equipment for each stage of the job. Check current product pages for model numbers, load and height limits, included accessories and material compatibility. Selecting a lift for safe board positioning and a suitable taping tool for the finishing work can make plasterboard installation more controlled and consistent on site.
