The base of the tile cutter is 760 mm long and is made of cast aluminum , significantly reducing weight and providing a stable base. The porous polyurethane coating on the working part allows stable positioning without slipping - so, once the tile is positioned, you can be sure that the cut will be made where you want it. In the front part of the base of the tile cutting machine there is a practical movable ruler with fixing screws and the possibility of setting a cutting angle from 0 to 60 degrees.

In addition to a movable ruler, the tile cutting machine also has a fixed measuring line with clearly visible numbers.

A steel plate is located in the breaking pressure zone of the tile to reduce wear of the breaking edge during intensive work.

If you need to cut at an angle or work with larger size tiles, the base of the tile cutting machine is equipped with two side extenders , which are also made of cast aluminum and coated with porous polyurethane.

The guide rail of the manual tile cutting machine is made of x profile. The guide of the cutting wheel has a 4-point bearing, with the possibility of adjusting the clearance for precise guidance of the cutting roller without the need to apply effort.

Unlike most models of tile cutting machines, the Cimex HTC730PRO does not use bushings, but bearings, for bearing between the guide rail and the handle. This minimizes the appearance of looseness during professional operation.
