Pipe Threading Machine - Up to 2" The CIMEX PTM2 is a compact, portable metal pipe threading machine, also called a pipe threading lathe. Intended for professional daily use, this type of pipe threading machine is widely used in the construction of water pipes, fire extinguishing installations, construction of steam installations, etc. Thanks to its compact size, the pipe threading machine can be used to cut pipes and tap pipe threads up to 2 inches in the field. The minimum diameter of processed pipes for all models is ½.

The machine has a built-in knife, thanks to which it can also be used as a pipe cutter. This enables the operator to quickly, easily and comfortably cut and thread a pipe.

A screw threading machine for pipe threading is driven by a powerful  750W single-phase electric motor , which by means of a reducer provides the necessary revolutions and torque.

Thanks to the built-in cleaner, chips are easily and quickly removed from the inner part of the pipe.

This pipe threading lathe comes standard with one head for mounting the tapping knives for the following pipe diameters: ½, ¾, 1, 1 ¼, 
1 ½, 2 inches.

The pipe threading lathe is also equipped with a system for automatic oiling of the knives when threading, the liquid being used repeatedly thanks to its filtration, and the feet included in the set make it easy to raise the working height.
