Tools like Rotary hammer and demolition hammer are one of the most used machines at the construction site. Depending on the weight of the machine, rotary hammers and demolition hammers are divided into different classes. Demolition hammer or rotary hammer up to 4 kg are in the lightweight class. The parameters for middleweight class are the machines to be with weight from 5 to 11 kg. The heavyweight class is with specifications over 11 kg. The difference between a rotary hammer and demolition hammer is that the first model has a rotational movement of the tool – drilling mode. Typical for the rotary hammer is that these models have three operation modes - drilling, hammer drilling and hammer-only. Using mode „hammer-only“ does not have a rotary motion but only a high force stroke. The most common machines in construction branch are petrol demolition hammer and electric demolition hammer. Unlike te rotary hammer, demolition hammer you couldn’t drill, but these tools are really powerful. Characterized by a high force (high impact intensity) thanks to which, their vibrating performance reaches 2500 kg / h (CIMEX B27 model parameters in concrete type B25 / B30).
Main purpose for these type of machines is demolition of buildings, repairs and reconstructions, where high impact power and high efficiency are needed. Depending on the weight of the machine they are divided into classes. CIMEX product range includes lightweight rotary hammers (3kg, 7kg), semi-heavyweight (11 kg) and heavyweight demolitions hammers (23kg, 27 kg).
