The compactor is designed for compaction of soil, sand, gravel mixtures, asphalt, pavement and it can be heavily used on a daily basis. Every professional will be impressed with the hardened self-cleaning plate made of cast iron, the drainage pipe that will make the oil change easy, the transportation wheels, the foldable handle and the water tank. This plate compactor might look like one of the standard models on the market, but it packs quite the additional features. The maximum working depth of the model is 90 cm which will be enough for perfect results regardless of the ground that is worked on. The plate compactor works with a gasoline four-stroke CIMEX G390 engine, that has proven its reliability through a lot of years and a lot of machines in which it has been used. The engine's torque is transferred via a self-regulating centrifugal clutch and an additionally strengthen double belted gear (most models are with a single belt gear). An overheating of the vibratory mechanism is mitigated with lowered contacted between the mechanism and the compacting plate - this is crucial in the compaction of a 150-170 C asphalt. This significantly lowers the heat exchange between the asphalt and the vibratory plate which means less downtime and an increase up to 200 working hours between oil changes. The form of the iron cast plate is with a rounded board, which increase manoeuvrability without any danger for the machine to sink in the ground. Fewer vibrations are one of the main features in the new CIMEX CR300 plate compactor. Also, the foldable handle is with three struts and the engine has a four-strut suspension. A specific feature in this plate compactor is the plate itself - the rounded board makes it very easy to manoeuvre without the danger of sinking into a soft ground while compacting. The foldable handle really helps with transportation even in smaller cars. The compactor comes with a spray bar and a water tank. The water tank is situated in the front of the machine and it's hooked with the spray bar via a hose with a tap. The spraying system is quite important in the compaction of asphalt because it mitigates any sticking.
